A machine cut & polish will normally remove 80-90% of car wash type scratching. It does need to be done by machine , at least 25% of the cut & polish jobs we do are to fix up someones attempt to do it by hand.

Provided the paint has not been broken the panel can usually be returned to as new condition.

The leather in my car is filthy, can I clean it myself?

Be very careful cleaning leather as it is very easy to accidently damage the paint suface.

We are very experienced in leather cleaning & conditioning & we have the correct cleaners & treatments to ensure that the leather is properly cleaned & nourished.

My car is covered with some sort of paint overspray or industrial fallout & it won't wash off.

If it is paint overspray then we can usually remove it from glass trims & paintwork & restore the paint surface to its former glory.

The type of overspray, the time it has been on the car & the type of paint all affect the method we'll use to rectify the problem.

My car is covered with acid rain spots or watermarks on the glass & paintwork & they won't polish off.

These can be romoved by either a chemical remedy or by a machine cut & polish. Which remedy is dictated by the time & nature of the spotting, eg. some bore waters leave a mineral scale which can be very difficult to remove if the water dries on the car.

The previous owner of my car was a heavy smoker & it stinks of cigarette smoke.

Odours can be a problem. In 14 years I've learned not to promise instant success! Anyone who does is not being honest with you! Cigarette smells can be a real problem, particularly with Japanese imports as the commuting times can be much longer than NZ due to traffic congestion. Also & heavy smoking & car pooling are more common.

The first step is a thorough interior valet which includes a hot shampoo of all fabrics with special attention to the headlining. Next we will deodorise the interior & aircon with ozone & if necessary use a deodorising bomb.

Similar treatments can also be used for other odours eg. dogs, spilt milk, etc.

My car has been spotted with concrete from a construction site

We can usually remove concrete spots & restore the paint to good condition without the need to respray.

I've been up the beach fishing & need to get the underside of my car cleaned.

Unfortunately there's not a valet in Auckland that has a hoist to get right underneath. As much as any of us can do is to put the car up on ramps for access. Please note that many sporty or lowered cars won't go up ramps without risking bumper or skirt damage.
